Welt Online, according to Alexa on rank 36 of the most visited sites in in germany and one of the most popular news papers, successfully did a relaunch in the beginning of 2012. What I did
Itererated generation of regular, video- and news-sitemaps for two million articles. Generation of other sitemaps.
Creation of widgets (JSP+Beans) and configuration of server-components (Apache2, Tomcat 6, MySql 5, Solr, Varnish)
Integration of the layout (HTML+CSS+JavaScript)
Amongst other things several custom forms, quiz-module, social.media-widgets, image galleries
